The mount threads into the compatible suppressor and allows the suppressor to attach directly to the Sidewinder Universal Adapter. Area 419 recommends blue Loctite on the mount’s external threads to hold it semi-permanently in the suppressor. Proper torque is important because the left-hand attachment direction can otherwise loosen the mount during installation. This compact adapter provides a purpose-built interface for compatible Sidewinder and TBAC configurations.
